Roxanne here, the little sister from Shop. I don't know about you, but for me, summer rhymes with camping! I love taking the time to set up, discover a new place, and cook over a fire. Our best meal discoveries often happen while camping.
The most important thing on our camping trips? Always supporting local businesses by packing our bags with 100% Quebec essentials. So, I'm sharing my favorite camping products with you:
What to eat while camping
I always bring a small jar of caramel from the La Lichée caramel trio. It's perfect for enjoying with croissants in the morning and easy to transport. Little trick: Keep the empty jar to use as the base for a long candle.
The kind of thing that's always useful and impresses your friends; Mlle Catherine's pancake mix! Easy and delicious pancakes. It's our favorite from the Brunch Box.
Nuts and snacks from Prana are a must! Easy to put in your bag for a hike or for the beach. A quick energy boost!
A new discovery for us: the Regalo Fruits dried fruit snacks from Régal Nomade are just like healthy fruit roll-ups. We a-do-re the local Quebec flavors like haskap and sea buckthorn. Kids will also love the strawberry one.
We can't do without them while camping: The anti-bug essentials
Les Mauvaises Herbes have created the best citronella mosquito repellent lotion and you can find it on our online store. Quebecers have been snatching it up since spring, just saying!
The Mélia by Miels D’Anicet shop also offers a great range of outdoor products such as their outdoor ointment, mosquito repellent soap, and more. We are pretty much in LOVE with everything.
Camping favorites: comfy and super useful
THE beach towel you need; Solem, the small company from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. It offers quick-drying, sand-free microfiber towels and wipes!

This beautiful steel mug from Les Mauvaises Herbes is perfect for your hot coffee in the morning or for a drink by the campfire. I also bring this Mimi & August bamboo cup, which is so practical for on the go and for your coffee to-go.

Have you ever seen such a cool hammock tent? Not me, and this one was created by the Quebec company Owly Packs. I can only imagine the amazing weekend we could have with this marvel.
Not to mention winter camping. Oh yes! I must include here the reusable hand warmers from Hot Poc which are, indeed, very practical and keep you warm.
In camping mode: clothes to pack in your bag
Being fashionable while camping is easy with Petit Montagnard, which offers outdoor clothing for all ages that is actually stylish! I have a huge crush on their fleece sweatshirts.

I haven't gotten a pair of Oraki leggings yet, but it won't be long! You'll definitely get compliments and be super comfortable.

If we're talking swimsuits, you won't be disappointed with Othersea Bikini, Oraki, Jules et Nolan, and June Swimwear. It's worth visiting each of these sites, I'm telling you!
That said, I wish you happy camping and a wonderful summer discovering the beautiful regions of Quebec.
