It's official: Shop moi ça and Les Produits du Québec are joining forces to launch the first gift box verified by Les Produits du Québec. We know, it was about time!

Today we present to you a project that the Shop moi ça team has long dreamed of bringing to fruition. A project that embodies exactly what we believe in: products made here, by people from here, to do good for those we love.

And for the first time, this gift box is officially recognized by a Les Produits du Québec certification mark.

But… what does “verified Made in Quebec” mean?

Les Produits du Québec is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate Quebec purchasing using a family of three certification marks. These marks facilitate Quebec purchasing by indicating to the consumer that the product is either produced, manufactured or designed in Quebec. Thanks to a rigorous, yet accessible, verification process, “Made in Quebec” verified products ensure they have :

✔️ At least 85% of direct production and manufacturing costs are incurred in Quebec.
✔️ The last substantial transformation of the product must be carried out in Quebec.
✔️ A clear anchor in the local economic fabric.

It's a promise. A source of pride. And a commitment to our people, our economy, our territory.

Jessika Tessier, owner of Josephine Co., chose to have her products verified “Product of Quebec” and “Designed in Quebec” to offer her customers a double guarantee.

Why Shop moi ça wanted to have a gift box verified by Les Produits du Québec

“We wanted to go even further in our mission to highlight local products. We verify ethics and quality and we test all products, so this certification is a confirmation of the detail put into our process. This box is a concrete way of showing that it is possible to offer a meaningful gift, without compromising on quality, while being proud of the know-how of Quebec businesses,” emphasizes Lissa Moore, founder of Shop moi ça.

What's in the box? A tested and approved moment of relaxation

For this first certified edition, we had the pleasure of selecting Quebec companies whose products we use in our daily lives. Each item in the box meets the rigorous criteria of Les Produits du Québec:

• Flambette and its silky bath milk with an enveloping fragrance

• Unscented Co and its gentle, vegan soap, without perfume or fuss

• Le jardin de Julie, with its Nordic bath salt made from plants from their gardens in Bic

• Joséphine Co and its addictive white tea and thyme candle

• Cocooning Love, for a self-care ritual with its whipped butter

• Bleu lavande, with its fragrant lavender branches from their magnificent gardens

But above all, the know-how of local businesses

It was important for Shop moi ça and Les Produits du Québec to give a voice to the entrepreneurs whose products are found in the Made in Quebec gift box.
